Lost, Theft, Damaged, and Destroyed (LTDD)
Overview
The Lost, Theft, Damaged and Destroyed (LTDD) eTool application
enables you to report any government property that has been lost,
stolen, damaged or destroyed in order for proper investigations to
begin.
- LTDD provides a more effective way to
communicate with your Property Administrator in order to ensure a
timely and accurate property LTDD liability determination.
- LTDD is a complete workflow system, allowing
users to easily monitor case statuses. It also allows for
E-Mail notifications as reports of LTDD are accepted or if your
Property Administrator requires additional information in order to
process your case.
- LTDD enables DCMA to delivery timely customer
service and leads the way to efficient and effective business
processes, by providing faster turnaround time of cases.
LTDD automatically updates the IUID registry
The IUID registry is the DoD data repository that receives input
from both industry and government sources. It stores data that
identifies and describes tangible government property, including
Property in the Possession of the Contractor (PIPC). As
property is lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed the registry
must be updated. The benefit of using LTDD is that this eTool
application automatically updates the registry for you!
