My DCMA: Fritz Pongnon, contract administrator

By Tonya Johnson DCMA Public Affairs

My DCMA showcases the Defense Contract Management Agency's experienced and diverse workforce and highlights what being a part of the national defense team means to them. Today we meet Fritz Pongnon.

My name is Fritz Pongnon, and this is My DCMA.

I am a contract administrator at DCMA Orlando.

My job duties are to provide contract administration services for all delegated contracts. This includes the review and execution of all administrative requirements through the lifecycle of the contract and execution of all closeout actions.

I have been a part of the DCMA team for two years.

I like working at DCMA because I find in the agency the same set of values that I lived by during my 25 years of active duty in the Army. I'm afforded the opportunity every day to learn, share and apply what I know from my service experiences to help make a difference in the warfighters' life. In addition, I get to work with a remarkable, talented and dedicated group of people that shape, mold and allow me to grow into a better professional every single day.

I am the independent eyes and ears for the Department of Defense because I interact with suppliers and the buying commands daily to ensure that the warfighters receive the best quality products at the right time, for the right price, and in the right place.

I provide actionable acquisition insight to DoD by working with all parties involved to accomplish the mission of supporting the warfighter.

DCMA is important to America's warfighters because we are a global organization with the single goal of supporting the warfighters. We provide them with the best quality products that enhance their capabilities to fight and win the nation's wars.
