Grand Rapids warfighter support includes housing vets
Twelve Defense Contract Management Agency Grand Rapids team members volunteered to renovate a local veteran’s new home. In addition to the build, the agency team donated their volunteer hours to Leonel (front row, third from left), a man from Cameroon who was 84 Sweat Equity hours away from completing his Habitat for Humanity commitment. Sweat Equity is a concept that requires future home recipients to complete a minimum number of volunteer hours constructing their own home and the homes of other future home owners.
