Training Agreement
(SCEPTA)
A SCEPTA agreement has been developed for each acquisition career fields.
The SCEPTA agreement selected for a student will coincide with the student's
academic major. The respective DCMA supervisor with cognizance over the
student selected to participate in the Student Career Experience Program
will complete this agreement. This form will be completed 5 workdays
prior to the date the student reports for duty.
Program
of Instruction
This section
describe the training events that will make up the student's training
plan during their co-op experience
with a DCMA activity. The DCMA Human Resources representative and local
supervisor will outline the specific activities that will be make up
the student's training plan to ensure the training supports the student's
academic program of study.
- Place an "x" in
the left box of two or three topic areas. These topics will represent
the subject areas the co-op student
will receive training during their DCMA experience.
- Introductions
with Senior Management and Command Orientation: Indicate the dates
these events are scheduled
- Multi-Functional
Rotations: Each
student will rotate for one workday through each of the following offices
Contract
Operations, Technical
Assessment Group, and the Management Support Office; List the date
of the scheduled rotation.
- Special
Project: Briefly describe the scope of the assignment in such detail
for the
student
to understand the task, expected outcome,
and end product (i.e. report, memo, chart). The topic or subject of
the project should be related to the student's academic major.
- Warfighter
Customer Visit: Select a customer site
and schedule a three-day to
week customer visit for the co-op student. This visit
should demonstrate DCMA's support of the Military Service's combat
support mission.
Signatures: All appropriate official must sign the training plan to
indicate their concurrence with the prescribed actions.
