In case of emergency circumstances
(such as war, riots, civil
unrest, natural disaster, or
similar conditions) and to
the extent mandatory evacuation
has been authorized by local,
state or competent DoD Authority,
DCMA CMO Commanders shall:
Issue written
or oral instructions directing
the evacuation of DCMA
personnel, military and
civilian. Oral instructions
will be followed by written
instructions.
Determine compliance
with U.S. Office of Personnel
Management or local authority
evacuation orders or directions.
CMOs
will have, as part of their
COOP, applicable planning guidance.
It should focus on updated
personnel rosters, contact
plans and mission coverage,
as appropriate.
In special
circumstances, once a mandatory
evacuation has been authorized,
the Director/Deputy Director
of DCMA, as determined appropriate,
may authorize certain evacuation
entitlements.
a. Evacuation
entitlements may be granted
on a case by case basis.
Evacuation entitlements
may only be paid as of
the date authorized through
orders issued by the Director/Deputy
Director DCMA or other
competent DoD authority.
Evacuation
entitlement orders authorized
by the Director/Deputy
Director, will establish
what allowances are authorized
and who they cover. Allowances
may be payable to dependents
of military members and
civilian employees and
their dependents. Allowances
are only payable after
the date a mandatory evacuation
is authorized by a competent
DoD authority. Evacuation
allowances may not be paid
retroactively.
Information
Website - In the event of emergency
circumstances, DCMA HQ will
establish a website for instructions
and information regarding DCMA
actions to be taken during
the emergency.
Combat Support
Center - The DCMA Combat Support
Center will track personnel
accountability through SITREP
submissions.
