Small Business

The DCMA Small Business Program evaluates and analyzes how well prime contractors ensure small businesses receive a fair proportion of prime contractors' subcontracts, helping foster business innovation, strengthen the industrial base, and promote private enterprise.

About the Small Business Program

Our strategy is to conduct compliance reviews of prime contractors' subcontracting programs and to actively assist customers in the development of subcontracting plans for their contractors.

Questions, comments, or concerns can be sent to the DCMA Small Business Programs Office: dcma.lee.hq.mbx.small-business-center-support@mail.mil.

Role of the Small Business Ombudsman

The DCMA Small Business Ombudsman advises the Agency Director on policy issues related to small business concerns and serves as the Agency's primary point of contact and source of information. The Ombudsman evaluates how well prime contractors provide small businesses maximum practicable opportunity to participate in subcontracts, through direct communication with the Contracts Executive Directorate — specifically the Procurement Center and the Small Business Compliance Center.
