Matt Leonard, Defense Contract Management Agency Raytheon Tucson quality assurance director, was detailed to the Process Working Group to enable a clear description and automation of the event planning process. In the following Leadership Lexicon video, Leonard discusses how “Integration” ties into initiative milestones.

“Integration is the act of bringing together smaller components into a single system that functions as one,” said Leonard, during the video. “In DCMA, we are integrating employees from the various functional disciplines at headquarters, operations, (contract management offices) and centers in teams with a common purpose. That purpose is to re-engineer our policies, processes, tools and ensure our training is timely and properly aligned to current policy and processes.”
