Tony Frese, a Lockheed Martin executive, presents a token of appreciation to Air Force Col. Sheri Bennington, commander of Defense Contract Management Agency Lockheed Martin Marietta, on the milestone of the 2,500th C-130 Hercules rolling off the assembly line. Col. Thomas Kunkel, commander of the 23rd Wing at Moody Air Force Base, Georgia, and crew from the wing were involved in the transfer of the aircraft from Marietta, Georgia, to the base.

Navy Capt. Richard McCarthy, Defense Contract Management Agency San Diego commander, cuts the ribbon for the office's new facility. Three of the longest serving office employees — Jane Morales, Gabriel Tapia and Rachelle Munz — held the ribbon in celebration of their 75 combined years at the previous facility.

San Diego move saves $450K annually

The relocation of Defense Contract Management Agency San Diego was recently recognized at the Commanders Forum held at Fort Lee, Virginia, for a savings of $450,000 annually

Air Force Capt. Thomas Truong, Defense Contract Management Agency Seattle lead engineer system surveillance, escorts SpaceX CEO Elon Musk to a meeting with Space and Missile Center. Truong was responsible for ensuring new entrants into government contracting met Air Force certification requirements during his second assignment as an officer with SMC in Los Angeles.
