FORT LEE, Va. –
DCMA EMPLOYEES - THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWN HAS ENDED. THE AGENCY WILL RESUME NORMAL OPERATIONS ON TUESDAY, JAN. 23.
THE INFORMATION BELOW IS SHOWN FOR ARCHIVAL PURPOSES ONLY
Regardless of Congressional action this weekend, all Defense Contract Management Agency employees should report to work as scheduled on either Sunday, January 21, or Monday, January 22. Employees who are scheduled to telework or unable to physically report for duty must contact their leadership for further instructions. If there is a continuing resolution or other action establishing a budget, it will be a regular duty day. If the government is still shutdown, DCMA will follow orderly shutdown procedures. Additional information will be provided to employees by supervisors or other agency leadership.
If an employee is not scheduled to work on either Sunday, January 21, or Monday, January 22, they must be available to receive guidance from their leadership chain. Contractor employees should contact their contracting officer’s representative and their company leadership for further guidance.
Orderly shutdown may be accomplished remotely, but employees must coordinate this with their supervisors.
Message from Marie Greening, DCMA deputy director, to the agency workforce (includes frequently asked questions).
