FORT LEE, Va. –
The Defense Contract Management Agency Business Process Re-engineering team focused on Contract Closeout has created a video for all agency contract administrators and administrative contracting officers on how to perform Quick Closeout Reviews at contract management offices.
The training details recent process changes. “The contract closeout process has been leaned to remove a couple of the steps and the revised checklist will make it easier and hopefully smoother to close contracts faster,” said Terri Workman, the BPR Contract Closeout team lead.
The video is the first in a series that is one example of the work going on behind the scenes with the BPR team with help from the Special Programs Directorate.
“With the contract closeout checklist revisions, Financial Improvement Audit Readiness updates, fund reconciliation and some automation changes all incorporated into the Integrated Workload Management System platform as well as other videos and the contract closeout manual, the BPR team is confident that DCMA employees will have all the necessary tools to complete their closeout journey,” said Workman.
