New commands champion warfighter support
HERNDON, Va. — The Systems Command and the Geographic & Systems Support Command became operational Oct. 6. The new units replaced the Central, Eastern, and Western Region Commands. The regions made up 60% of the DCMA workforce.

Our history: DCMA turns 25
FORT GREGG-ADAMS, Va. — By the end of its 25th year, DCMA anticipates being broadly transformed, with two large commands covering defense contract administration in the continental U.S., a third command for international work, and a refined slate of focused components providing specialized work and support.
