The General Law Division of the DCMA Office of General Counsel receives and coordinates responses to litigation holds and preservation requests from government and private entities which do not involve contract administrative services delegated to DCMA or contractor claims that may be adjudicated before the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals and/or the U.S. Court of Federal Claims. Holds and preservation requests involving administrative services delegated to DCMA or contractors with claims justiciable before the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals and/or the U.S. Court of Federal Claims should separately be presented to the cognizant Administrative Contracting Officer or DCMA's Contract Dispute Resolution Center.
