FORT LEE, Va. –
The Defense Contract Management Agency today announced two internal Senior Executive Service moves.
Dr. Juanita Christensen leads the agency’s new Geographic and Systems Support Command, a position she has been acting in since the command was initially established in February as part of a major DCMA reorganization. In her role, Christensen oversees nine primary offices executing acquisition services on a broad scope of War Department contracts performed in thousands of locations across the United States.
Walter Eady has been named the executive director of the agency’s Technical Directorate, the position previously held by Christensen. Eady now oversees the team charged with providing quality assurance, engineering and other technical guidance and policy for DCMA’s work. He was previously executive director of the agency’s Enterprise Analytics and Modernization directorate.
EA&M will be led by Steven Buetow, a retired Air Force colonel and former DCMA chief of staff, in an acting capacity.
DCMA provides contract administration services for more than 300,000 war contracts and delivers hundreds of millions of items to our fighting forces each year. As a combat support agency, DCMA provides accurate, real-time acquisition insight to inform War Department decisions relative to the defense industrial base, enabling operational planning and execution.
