DCMA Manassas leaders encourage employee teambuilding

MANASSAS, Va. — “Teambuilding exercises allow individuals to hone their communication skills with each other,” said Barbara Runnels, Contracts group lead.

Business Capabilities Framework bridges the agency’s mission and vision into standardized procedures

DALLAS — There are 11 capability boards within three overarching capabilities — primary, integrating and enabling — that incorporate multifunctional expertise across DCMA.

Over 300 Defense Contract Management Agency employees volunteered to deploy with the Federal Emergency Management Agency during relief efforts in the fall of 2017. Lifetime of contracting finishes with service to DCMA

FORT LEE, Va. — Timothy Callahan retires after 45 years of contracting service to the military, industry and DCMA.

Contract administrator uses her expertise to help fellow warfighters

ORLANDO, Fla. — Tamie Haines is a contract administrator at DCMA Lockheed Martin Orlando who also serves in the Air National Guard.

Employees are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the various channels the Defense Contract Management Agency uses for communication outside of the normal work-week processes. These are important tools that have shown effectiveness in the past year during the hurricane evacuations and shutdown.

CPI launches online Green Belt training

FORT LEE, Va. — The new format provides team members online access to problem-solving skills in a self-paced, on-demand platform.

Starting Feb. 1, Internet Explorer on a Defense Contract Management Agency computer will automatically open to the agency’s public website, www.dcma.mil. From here, employees can click on “DCMA 360” on the upper right navigation bar to reach the 360 homepage. (DCMA graphic)

New landing page, 360 changes coming

FORT LEE, Va. — DCMA's migration to the updated DCMA 360 begins next week. Employees will notice two changes when they log in Feb. 1, followed by other upgrades in the coming months.
