DCMA provides pricing support to C-130 Hercules aircraft

Noreen Cassaro served as the Keystone Distance Learning Center coordinator at Defense Contract Management Agency Boston, and was known for developing, training and mentoring Keystone. After she passed away, several of the former Keystones she mentored created an award, the annual Noreen Cassaro Award of Excellence, in her name.

Two-week assignment allowed her to learn more about the agency’s mission.

Gina Copello, a quality assurance specialist at the Defense Contract Management Agency Lockheed Martin Moorestown, New Jersey, who works out of an office in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania, boxes in her spare time. She used to box competitively and was part of the first group of women to teach martial arts in the Marine Corps. She served 10 years in the military.

Quality assurance specialist deploys boxing fundamentals to contracting

Defense Contract Management Agency quality assurance specialists Scott Kirisits, Edward Pawelczyk, Eric Lee, Komlan Koudifo and Jason Drewitz, recently passed the certified quality auditor course, which has enhanced their skills when participating in an audit. All of them are based at DCMA Air Propulsion Operations Rolls Royce in Indianapolis, Indiana.

St. Louis' STEM efforts inspire kids with thoughts of flight

“As part of the coordination process, the team works closely with teachers to tailor the STEM message to students’ educational needs by augmenting classroom lessons with interpersonal and relational sharing,” said Navy Lt. Cmdr. Doug Crane, a DCMA Boeing St. Louis government flight representative.

After 13 years of contingency contracting support, DCMA Afghanistan’s mission delivering contract, quality assurance and property administration services for the warfighter has transferred to the Army Expeditionary Contracting Command.
