CMT visits submarine shipyard, gains insight

GROTON, Conn. — “Without the factory floor insights, the American taxpayer wouldn’t receive fair value, the warfighter wouldn’t receive the right capability at the right time, and we wouldn’t have a robust and innovative defense industrial base that is postured to meet the demands of an ever-evolving national defense posture,” said Army Maj. QAS earns Defense Acquisition Workforce award

EAST HARTFORD, Conn. — A DCMA employee received an award for implementing a process to return components back to the warfighter that were once deemed unusable scrap material. The process saved an estimated $98.4 million during the past four years.
