Global All Hands follow-up

By DCMA Public Affairs

FORT LEE, Va., Nov. 6, 2017 — The Defense Contract Management Agency conducted its second Global All Hands on Nov. 3.

The event was hosted by Navy Vice Adm. David Lewis, DCMA director, who talked about a variety of topics, with a special focus on the now-active Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute Organizational Climate Survey. The DEOCS is a confidential, command-requested organization development survey focusing on issues of equal opportunity and organizational effectiveness. All employees received a link and password by email, and are strongly encouraged to participate in the survey.

The director also addressed questions gathered before and during the event. More than 50 questions were received. Some were condensed or combined for the All Hands, and others arrived too late for consideration. All questions will be presented to the director as written following the event, and will be answered through the director’s blog, in future All Hands, or by other means.

The event was broadcast by streaming video, video teleconference and telephone conference. Participants are asked to provide feedback on their VTC or MediaSite viewing experience. Connectivity is a challenging part of bringing the entire agency together at one time, and the surveys are essential to improvement. Links to the surveys, along with specific connection details, are on the All Hands 360 page at https://360.dcma.mil/SitePages/All_Hands.aspx.

Employees can view a recording of the presentation at https://media.dcma.mil/Mediasite/Play/f79a3950d4ba465899e0760e9cf96b311d (login required). This video will be updated to include closed captioning once completed, in approximately one week.

Global All Hands are scheduled quarterly, with the next being Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2018, at 1 p.m. Eastern time. Visit the Global All Hands 360 page for the schedule, links to All Hands recordings, and details on connectivity. https://360.dcma.mil/SitePages/All_Hands.aspx
