FORT LEE, Va. –
The Defense Contract Management Agency today announced an internal Senior Executive Service move.
Jorge Bennett will lead the agency’s Systems Command effective Jan. 11, a position he has been acting in since the command was established in February 2025 as part of a major DCMA reorganization. In this role, Bennett oversees 3,500 employees managing more than 59,000 War Department contracts with a total value of nearly $2 trillion. The command’s 11 primary offices cover products including aircraft, land systems, space, missiles, conventional munitions and others.
A retired Air Force officer, Bennett held several leadership positions at DCMA before joining the Senior Executive Service. Ms. Mary Sheridan will be acting executive director of DCMA’s Cost and Pricing Command.
