In March 2012 the then 49-year-old Mara Chambers joined Defense Contract Management Agency Aircraft Integrated Maintenance Operations Oklahoma City as a GS-5 procurement technician. She had no idea she would soon be undertake a major career shift and begin change professional outlook forever. One her office’s mission responsibilities includes providing contract administration and contractor logistics support services on multiple platforms managed by Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma (pictured). Dayton’s ongoing CPI efforts spark innovation, results

DAYTON, Ohio — “I am super proud our team and excited to share the process improvements we have made with other CMOs,” said Col. Eric Obergfell.

While reporting numbers have remained consistent since its launch, agency employees are still favoring the Department of Defense reporting system over the direct-to-investigator internal reporting option. The agency IG is working to reverse this trend by reaffirming its independence and fortifying employee trust.
