Safety Gram: The dangers of driving in a winter wonderland

On average, more than 6,000 Americans are killed in weather-related crashes each year.

DCMA Lockheed Martin Marietta retires Engine 1248

MARIETTA, Ga. — “This engine, in its way, made a significant contribution to the safety and security of our nation,” said Jim Johnson, DCMA Lockheed Martin Marietta’s Air Mobility Missions chief engineer.

DCMA’s Safety and Occupational Health Division is warning agency team members that incidents of malfunctioning lithium batteries have increased recently resulting in fires.
