DCMA enables continued delivery of training helicopter

PHILADELPHIA — Earlier this year, the delivery acceptance of TH-73A trainer helicopters were halted due to a nonconforming antenna provided by a subcontractor. DCMA worked with the contractor for a variance that was approved by the Federal Aviation Administration that enabled continued delivery of the aircraft.

PORTSMOUTH, N.H. — The timely intervention of a DCMA Naval Special Emphasis Operations quality assurance specialist ensured a critical component for a Los Angeles-class attack submarine was delivered with minimal delays, moving the submarine closer to returning to the fleet and resuming its role in deterring aggression and ensuring freedom of the seas.

WHITE MARSH, Md. — Shawntá Francis, an Earned Value Management specialist at DCMA Baltimore, was recently selected for an overseas position. She joined the DCMA team nine years ago.
