MANITOWOC, Wis. — The contractor ships these cranes to shipyards to greatly enhance the Navy’s capacity to perform full-service maintenance and overhaul work of surface ships and submarines. Each crane is valued at $46 million.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — DCMA South was officially activated under DCMA General Order FY24-17. It has two streamlined commands under it — DCMA Red River and DCMA Tennessee River Valley. DCMA South is the third CMO reorganization for the Central Region.

DCMA Ohio River Valley stands up, replaces DCMA Dayton
WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio — Air Force Col. Thomas Clohessy, former commander of DCMA Dayton, recently became the new director of DCMA Ohio River Valley. This is the second CMO reorganization for the Central Region. The first CMO reorganization was the establishment of DCMA Land Systems, which replaced DCMA Detroit.

DETROIT — Amy Kozlowski, DCMA Detroit’s former director, recently became the new director of DCMA Land Systems. Approximately 180 DCMA employees became a part of the new CMO, which is a result of DCMA Vision, the agency’s strategic plan.
