Detection to prevention - an initiative that's not just for quality anymore

Success with this initiative helps show DCMA's continued viability and worth in the acquisition process.

Business Process Re-engineering 4: Major Program Support is one of 10 groups formed from a cross section of Defense Contract Management Agency subject matter experts to develop agile business practices and optimize customer support. The 13-member team is charged with improving MPS Program Assessment Reporting creation to improve actionable acquisition insight delivery to customers.

Ebright assumed command from Navy Rear Adm. Deborah Haven who had presided over the agency's international contract administration operations in 26 different countries overseeing 9,600 contracts totaling over $75 billion in program value.

Thirty Defense Contract Management Agency Huntsville team members recently participated in a two-mile walk/run in observance of Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month. The command hosted several events throughout the day, including a presentation led by Tracy Anderson, the agency's Central Regional Command Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Program victim advocate.
